Book theme : is everyone has someone to protect them in different ways.
Edward is trying to protect bella.Some newborn vampires are killing tons of people in Seatle. Victoria is the leader of the new vampires.One of them comes to get Bella's scent to give to the others. Alice sees the new vampires comming. So the Cullens and the werewolves learn how to kill the new vampires. Bella tells Edward two ways she wants. To either be there with him or for him to stay with her. He decides to stay with her.Edward goes to talk with his family. Bella has to make a false trail for the newborns. Then they camp out. Jacob is with her through the night then goes to fight. He overhears Bella and Edward talking about their best nights. Then Victori comes with Riley to get Bella. Edward and Seth fights them. Bella thinks Seth is hurt so she cuts herself. And lastly Edward tears Victoria and Riley then burn them. After the fight the Voltri come to see if the fight is over. Yes i would reconmend this book. It is because it captures your heart when Edward tries to keep Bella alive.

Main characters: Dewey, Suze, Mrs. Gordon

Book theme: Families come in a varity of styles. Siblings will always be there for you.

Main conflict: Dewey and Suze have to come to terms with realizing they really are sisters and have to find a way to share Mrs. Gordon and their new lives with each other while remaining friends. This new bond is threatened when Dewey's real mom returns and wants Dewey to come live with her.

How do the characters change: Dewey's physical problems are lessened. Suze works hard to not become "the truck" again and not be so bossy to others.

Interesting part: How Suze reacts when she learns Dewey might be taken away from her family.

Summary: Dewey and Suze are living in New Mexico with the Gordons. Mr. Gordon is helping to build space rockets at Alamo Gordo. Suze and Dewey are in high school. Dewey. Mrs. Gordon is now a stay at home mom and isn't too happy about this development. It causes problems between the Gordons and Mr. Gordon eventually moves out. Suze befriends a local girl and learns that she still has issues as "the truck." Dewey befriends a boy and develops a close friendship with him. Both girls are still unsure what their role is to each other; however, when Dewey's mom comes to take Dewey away, Suze realizes that Dewey is a real sister and fights to keep her.

Would i reccomend this book? : I would. But, I think the girls would enjoy this much more than the boys would. There are a lot of coming of age issues for girls in this story, and the boys may have some trouble relating.

Out Of My Mind - a novel.

Author: Sharon M. Draper

Main characters: Melody, Ms.V, Mom,Dad, Penny, Rose, Claire, Molly, Connor, rodney, Mr.D.

Book theme: Everybody has something different about them, dont let looks fool you.

Main conflict: Melody is looked at as incapable. But truthfully, she's extraordinary smart. She makes the 'Quiz Whiz Team', and wins the first competition. But lots of unexpected problems come along as she trys to make it to the Washington D.C. national competition.

How do the characters change: Everybody realizes that Melody is an extrodinary person.

Interesting part: How Claire lies about friendship on national television.

Summary: Melody Brooks has a hard life. She's a 5th grader at Spaulding Street Elementary School. She has Cerebral Palsy, and cannot talk. She has so much to say though. Her mom surprises her with a little sister, Penny. Lifes' a hassle at the Brooks' house. Melody loves school, even though she might not get treated how she should, and she's underestimated. Her neighbor, and fellow friend, Ms.V, helps Melody out like a second mother. And her dog, Butterscotch, is always there, waiting.. hand and foot. Melody gets a "Medi-Talker", named Elvira. Melody has a fish, Ollie, that flipped out of its bowl, and Melody tried helping it by knocking the bowl over, but gets blamed for killing the fish. This is compared throughtout the story to her life.

Would i reccomend this book? : Yes!! I already have! Its so interesting.. i read it in a matter of a week. It's hard to put down. And you can relate to her. It gives very good description also. The author uses everyday items to help kids understand better. Its wonderful!

Summary: Caty a young girl who hears things going on in here town and throughtout her village about indian attacks.She is also told why the indians are doing such things.Then one day her and her brother are captured after school,taken to an indian village and scared to death.While Caty and her brother are spending much times with the indians Caty falls in love with Snow Hunter.Snow Hunter and few more indians are headed down stream so now he is away while his village is under attack.There was a mob party searching for Caty,and her brother Thomas.Soon Caty realizes she will now have to choose between the man she loves Snow Hunter or living the englishman ways.


Main Conflict in the book:when Caty and her brother are being held hostage in the indian vilage

How do the characters change in the story?Caty starts to realize the indian life is not much different from her englishmen ways
Interesting part of the book: when Caty starts to fall in love with an indian
Would you reccommend this book to someone else - why or why not?
Yes,because this book is very interesting and informs you on how much indians and englishmen thought of each other and their own different ways of living.Also it tells you how responsible people had to be back then.

Book Theme: if you ever love somthing save it when it needs you

Summary: A grumpy old man named Mr.Gum.He is a felthy man but only one thing he keeps neat and tidy is his garden , but their a reson why he keeps it so tidy because if he doesnt a angry fairy will come through the drain of his bath tub and whack hi with a frying pan.One day a dog come in the town of Lamonic Bibber ,no one knows wher the dog came from but he was a very kind dog kind of fat but thats not the piont .The point is the dogs name was jake andd jake had a thing for gardens and you proably know where this is going to end up . Jake teard up Mr.Gums garden and the fairy kept on coming out abd whacking him with that pan and it happened again and again and again till Mr.Gum decides to poisin the dog and a girl by the name of Polly she hears Mr. gum is going to piosen the dog and she takes action. she find a man named friday O'leary and he helps her save the dog by the time they get to Mr.gums house where he pioson the dog he is barly alive but he wakes up from msgical choclate the girl gives him and they all celebrate



Main Conflict in the book: Mr.gum trying to piosen jake and polly saving him

How do the characters change in the story? at first Mr.gum is mean and grpy but at the end of the book he is the just drunk

Interesting part of the book: the whole book was interesting but the part where polly meets friday is cool

Would you reccommend this book to someone else - why or why not?
YES, this book is good for people who like reading about magical but real story and for people who dont like to read that much just when you read the first page you will want to read the whole thing

Summary: A chicken tries to be a duck. The owners create him a little wet suit. The chicken has alot of fun in the water but then at the end he wants to be a chicken again.

Main Conflict in the book: Frank wants to be a chicken.

How do the characters change in the book? Frank becomes a duck when he is a chicken and then he changes his mind and wants to be a chicken again

Interesting part of the book: I liked how the book was easy to read and that it just made me keep reading and actually finish the book.

Would you recommend this book to someone else - why or why not?
I would because it was funny and it gives u something interesting to read when you don't like to.

michael p3 maximum bart maximum bart is about bart simpson cloneing himself there are realy funny scenes. When bart tells the other clone bart to eat my shorts then the the other bart siads wno you eat my shorts. Or when they go to bed and one of the barts say mom bart #23 is hogging the covers. or my favorit scene when all 24 barts get on the bus and auto the bus driver keeps on saying hey bart x7 and then a boy siad are you awere thet you let on two dozen idenical barts simpson on the bus and auto says whoa i have a bus.I would recomend this comic to anyone who has a sence of humor because it is realy funny.main characters bart conflict there was to many bart clones.

Green Glass Sea

Book Theme: if you get to know someone they aren't as bad as they seem

Summary: A little girl, during WWII, goes to Los Alamos army base to live with her dad. Scientists are making the atom bomb. she meets a bully who she has to live with when her father goes to DC. she and the bully later become friends, and Dewey becomes a member of suze's family after her father is killed.

Main Conflict in the book: She has to move in with the bully who tormented her. She has to learn to get along with people who aren't like her.

How do the characters change in the book? Dewey and Suze became friends in the end. Suze became nice and was no longer stuck up. She went from being a bully to a nice person.

Interesting part of the book: When they they went to see suze's birthday present which was the green glass sea.

Would you reccommend this book to someone else - why or why not?
I would because it because it's interesting and it has to do with war it's a nice story of friendsship.

Book Theme: it's important to accept people for who they are on the inside

Summary: A 12-year old girl wishes her new next door neighbor would be her best friend, despite the fact her younger brother has autism and causes problems for Catherine. She meets a boy at her brother's rehab and becomes friends with him.

Main Conflict in the book: Catherine has to find a way to accept that her little brother is different and some people will never see him the same way she does.

How do the characters change in the book? Catherine trusts herself at the end of the book, and realizes that no matter what someone looks like on the outside - it's their personality that is important.

Interesting part of the book: I liked all the rules she devised for her little brother. My favorite was "Little brothers with no pants are not my problem."

Would you reccommend this book to someone else - why or why not?
I would because it was both funny and interesting at the same time.
